Susan Aery is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. She earned her M.S. in Community/School Psychology from the College of New Rochelle. She has received a Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Youth and Family Studies. Dr. Aery has over 25 years of experience in mental health and addictions counseling. Dr. Aery is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional. She is an approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Florida.

Dr. Aery practices cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused counseling, and reality therapy. She has counseled children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in Child and Adult ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, addictions, and men's issues. Dr. Aery was awarded the Katherine Hage Award by the College of New Rochelle in recognition of academic achievement and volunteer services in the field of mental health.
